Single -arm crusher
In this type of stone crushers, its mobile jaw moves at a very low speed in four opposite directions: up, down, forward and backward. The pressure applied to the stones in this crusher is less and their entrance opening is smaller, so it is suitable for crushing hard stones. The single-arm jaw crusher is lighter, simpler and cheaper compared to the two-arm type, but it is not economical for abrasive and very hard stones.
Jawbone
In this type of crusher, the jaw motion is only front and back, but the pressure between the jaws is more than the single arm. Their entrance is larger and used to crush very hard stones. Of course, they have a heavier weight than the single arm type and are more costly use.
The jaw crusher consists of a fixed jaw and a movable jaw. The movement of the movable jaw is provided by an eccentric shaft connected to the motor by a belt and pulley. With the movement of the jaw, the materials are affected by the compressive force (and sometimes impact or shear) and are crushed. The distance between the two jaws in the upper part is called the opening and the distance between the two jaws in the lower part is called the throat.
